Christmas Eve Fun

On Christmas Eve we had a great time together as a family. We started to enjoy the night by yummy cupcakes from a local bakery.

Next, the kids opened their one present on Christmas Eve.

Each of the kids received new pajamas.

Next, each of my kids and Alizabeth performed a musical number they had worked on.

Each of them did a great job. After the performance, Lucy insisted on having her turn.

Next, Brandon's father read from the scriptures, Luke 2,  the story of Jesus being born.

The kids then participated in a Grandma T's tradition of making reindeer food.

The kids were very happy to go outside and spread out their reindeer food.

Lucy opted to dump her food in one spot.

Then, the kids set out cookies for Santa and headed to bed.  Excitement was in the air as my children drifted off to bed.

The Trampoline Place

On Christmas Eve, we took the kids to a trampoline park.  Basically, the large space was completely filled with trampolines.

We had so much fun as a family just jumping around.

All the kids loved jumping high and then hurling themselves into a foam pit.  Lucy in particular did this over and over.  It was so cute to see her little body jump. Even Brandon did so awesome jumps into the foam pit, complete with flips and everything.

The big kids spent most of their time in the dodge ball arena.  The kids absolutely loved it, especially when Brandon would play too.

It was a great way to spend our Christmas Eve morning and wear out the kids!

Fun in Texas

In the year 2014, we spent Christmas in Texas.  It was great to be able to spend time with Brandon's parents and Brandon's brother and his daughter.
It was fun to play games together.
We even went and drove through a neighborhood to look at fancy Christmas lights.
We made fun Christmas crafts.
We even had a white elephant gift exchange.

We also played at the park, went out to Chick-fil-a, spent time with my Aunt Marsha and her family,  played outside and spent time together as a family.

Christmas Pictures

I was able to snap some cute pictures of our kids in front of our beautiful Christmas tree. Yes, my Lucy is a ham!

I thought our girls looked gorgeous in their Christmas dresses.

I thought our boys looked so handsome in their white shirts and ties.

I have been blessed with wonderful kids!

Early Christmas Presents

Before we headed off to Texas for Christmas, the kids opened up some fun Christmas presents they received from Grandma Chocolate. Grandma always seems to know just what to get them.

Also, the kids opened presents they received from their cousins who drew their name in the family draw.

Our neighbors also dropped by presents for our kids and us.

Lucy even received this doll from her beloved nursery leader.

It was a fun night for our family.
