Back in the middle of May, the boys had their Fathers and Sons camping trip and Emmy and I had our girls night. The boys have been talking about this camping trip for a long time. They were very excited to go camping with their dad. Emmy was also excited to spend some time with just the girls. I think it is safe to say that both parties had a great time.
Earlier in the day, the kids and I stopped at the store so they could pick out some fun treats to have for their fun night.
I met Brandon at his work with the car packed and ready to go.
We moved the girls to his car and we both set out on our adventures. The boys had a wonderful time playing catch and climbing on the toy equipment.
Hyrum and Ben also enjoyed the S'mores and starbursts they roasted. They spent the late night hours with Brandon playing a Monopoly card game that they really enjoy.
After we dropped off the boys, Emmy went to T-Ball practice and then we started our fun night.
Emmy told me that she wanted to go to the restaurant where she can have Mac and Cheese.
So, once again we headed to McCallisters. Afterwards, we headed to Sweet Cece's, our favorite yogurt stop in town. Of course she put in her favorite, chocolate rocks.
Then, on our way home we stopped at Redbox so she could pick out a movie for us to watch. She picked a Barbie movie. Lucy, Emmy and I snuggled in my bed and watched her movie and had treats. Emmy was so eager to share her treats with me. It was really cute. I think Emmy's favorite part was that she got to sleep in my bed that night. She tries to sneak into sleep by me any chance she can get! I loved every moment with Emmy and Lucy. Emmy was so happy to have me to herself. It was a great night.

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to the best dad in the world!
Brandon is such a wonderful dad and we are so lucky to have him. Brandon is always playing a game or wrestling with the kids and they love him for it.
Brandon knows how to be silly with our crazy monkeys and those monkeys think that is awesome!
Brandon is always encouraging our kids to do their best. He loves each of our kids so much. We are grateful to our daddy for all that he does for us.

Lucy at 7 months
Another month has come and gone so it is time for me to give an update on our sweet baby Lucy Lu when she was 7 months old. The pictures of Lucy in the green polka dot dress were taken on the day she turned 7 months old.
The month of May was a busy month. Among other things, we attended three graduations, baseball t-ball practices and games, Sprinkler park and various other school functions. Lucy was a trooper and went with us to everything and was pretty good.
During the month of May, Lucy learned to clap. It was so cute, she would clap for herself when she would roll over.
Lucy LOVES food. Anything and everything she can get her hands on she wants to eat; especially, TREATS.
During the time when she was seven months she was learning how to eat puffs by herself. Lucy still doesn't have any teeth.
Lucy loves to bounce up and down. She loves it when she bounces like a crazy woman in her exersaucer.
Lucy also loves to pull up on your hands and stand when you are holding her. She thinks she is fancy.
Lucy really started to babble and talk really LOUD this month. I love hearing her cute noises.
I love it that she still gives me her open mouth kisses. They make me feel loved.
Lucy loves it when we read books. She turns the pages eagerly.
Lucy is learning how to play peek- a-boo and thinks that it is a great game. The kids got a kick out of when Lucy played hide-n-seek with them as we played it as a family.
Lucy is really starting to play and splash in the tub when she takes a bath. She loves being able to sit -up and splash. Plus, we were able to find some bath toys that she has been enjoying during her tub time.
I love it when I walk into the room and Lucy gives me one of her big smiles. Her smile melts my heart. I know she loves me.
Lucy has a special smile for her daddy and loves it when he plays with her.
She loves each of her siblings and has big smiles for them when she sees them. Our kids, mostly Emmy, love to hold Lucy and still ask all the time to hold their chubby sister.
Lucy loves watching everything that is going on around her.
Lucy enjoys being held, but she wants you to hold her in a certain way so that she can see everything that is happening around her.
However, she will snuggle close to me as I sing to her before I lay her down to sleep. We sing I am a Child of God. Or she will snuggle close if she is REALLY tired.
I have so much love for my dear Lucy. She is a reminder to me every day of answered prayers. She has such a sweet spirit and I am so grateful she came to our family.
Lucy's cheeks are still wonderful to smooch.
She giggles as I tickle her heavenly fat rolls.
Her blue eyes are still beautiful. Her hair is still crazy and oh how we love our dear Lucy with all our hearts.

Ben Lost His First Tooth
On May 14th my sweet Ben lost his first tooth.
He was pretty nervous about losing his first tooth. Ben's tooth was so loose for days, but he didn't want anyone to touch it. However, once his tooth came out, he was fine. Ben was pretty excited for the Tooth Fairy to come and put his tooth under his pillow before he went to bed for the night.
Ben also received a note from the Tooth Fairy and one dollar.
Ben thought it was pretty awesome to have one hundred cents! Ben even uses his dollar for a bookmark. It is pretty cute.
Just a side note, all three of my kids lost teeth that week. I think the Tooth Fairy is going broke. Also, Ben and Emmy both lost their first tooth within a short period of time from each other. Ben and Emmy have done everything within a couple of days of each other since they have been born.

Emmy Lost Her 1st and 2nd Tooth
On April 26th, I was making dinner when I heard this cute little woohoo from Emmy. I thought she let out that excited noise because she won the game she was playing with the boys. I was mistaken. Emmy enthusiastically and proudly came into the kitchen to show me the tooth she lost.
She was so excited!!
I could hear Ben mumbling about how Emmy would have more money than him now. It made me laugh. Emmy made sure to put it under her pillow that night. The Tooth Fairy did not disappoint, in the morning, Emmy found $1 and a note from the Tooth Fairy. Emmy felt rich and it was fun to see her excitement and thrill at finally being her turn to have the Tooth Fairy come for her tooth. It was so cute to hear Emmy in the following days tell everyone that she lost her first tooth and show everyone the missing space in her mouth.
Around May 19th Emmy came to me with a bloody mouth and showed me her second tooth that she lost.
Once again, the Tooth Fairy came and left Emmy a $1 for her tooth. Emmy is quite the rich lady now. I know Emmy was so excited about this right of passage for a child, but it makes me sad that my sweet Emmy is growing up to quick. We sure love that girl!
