Fishing in Blanding
The kids were so excited when they heard that their Papa was going to take them fishing. They had been wanting to go fishing for a long time. It worked out perfectly to go fishing while we were visiting Blanding.I think Ben was pretending to be a fish. The kids were fascinated watching Papa bait the hook. Papa and Sean baited many hooks that day. Both Sean and my dad had much patience with my kids helping them fish. Hyrum and his beloved Papa
Waiting for their turnHyrum caught his first fish on the trip. He was so thrilled and proud of himself. That poor fish got cast out again into the water and reeled back in for Ben and Emmy to each catch.Later in the evening Hyrum caught another fish.

We had such a great time fishing. It was one of our favorite times on our trip to Utah. The kids were heaven. They still talk about when they went fishing(July 3, 2010).

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." -President Thomas S Monson
Sisters, there is something inspiring and sublime about the little forget-me-not flower. I hope it will be a symbol of the little things that make your lives joyful and sweet. Please never forget that you must be patient and compassionate with yourselves, that some sacrifices are better than others, that you need not wait for a golden ticket to be happy. Please never forget that the “why” of the gospel of Jesus Christ will inspire and uplift you. And never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.—President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
