In November, before we headed off to Utah for Thanksgiving, Brandon was wanting to set up Christmas. Long story short, I let him!
The kids absolutely loved decorating the tree. It was fun to see the kids reminisce about ornaments of theirs from past years.
Each year, the kids receive an ornament that represents something they loved that year.
Lucy's ornament was Anna, from the movie Frozen. She has been a huge Frozen fan since she saw the show. Lucy was also Anna for Halloween.
Ben's ornament this year was a cub scout uniform since Ben started cub scouts. Ben has loved every minute of scouts.
Emmy's special ornament in 2014 was a piano since she started taking piano lessons.
Hyrum's special ornament was Harry Potter. Hyrum absolutely loved reading the Harry Potter series in 2014.
Some other fun new ornaments from 2014 were our Mickey and Minnie to represent our trip to Disneyland with my family.
Also, Brandon and I picked up a beautiful ornament to represent our trip to Philadelphia.
While we were decorating the tree, we had music playing. The kids would stop what they were doing and dance with us and each other. It was so cute to watch them. The kids' cute sounds of laughter and giggles filled our home. It was a great night!
