Early Christmas

Before we left Utah, we celebrated an early Christmas. We gave our family our presents and they gave us some of ours!!

Emmy thought the blanket making kit that was given to her from grandma and papa will be lots of fun. 

Lucy has loved her little princess characters she received from my parents.

 Briggy is really starting to enjoy his Sophie giraffe he was given from grandma and papa.  He also received an adorable outfit and new bibs from his cousin McCall and her family.  

Ben received Magic cards from Papa and Grandma and he was thrilled!

Lucy was thrilled to finally receive her own piggy bank! Thank you McCall, Sean and Tracy!

Ben was pretty excited to play with his new flip car from Sean and family!

Emmy was given the perfect gift from Sean, McCall and Tracy. She was given a string art kit. Anything artsy is Emmy's favorite thing!

Hyrum received some magic cards from Sean and his family! He thought it was awesome. I didn't get a picture taken of it, but Hyrum also received a new book series from my parents that he devoured in days!

We gave my mom a beautiful wreath from Costco that she wanted.

We absolutely love spending anytime we can with our Millie!

The kids were beyond excited to be given another trip to Disneyland! They are ready to go!

New Years 2014

For New Years 2014 we went to my Aunt Mindy's house to party with all of our fun cousins. 

Of course, we had wonderful food. Since this year, 2014, is the year of the horse, everyone brought horse food to share. There were yummy Hawaiian haystacks to eat, and bread sticks in the shape of hay and other fun things.

We played some fun games that had to do with horses and of course we played other fun games too.  Ben and Hyrum had a blast playing BANG with the older cousins.

We rang in the New Year a little early with poppers and noise makers.

Of course Lu had to have two noise makers.

My little family and I headed back to my parents house where we stayed up playing some games and rang in the new year.  The kids insisted on banging pots and pans out on the deck as fireworks went off to celebrate the New Year.

  It was a fun night to celebrate a chance to start things anew. 

Fishing in Blanding

On the Fourth of July, our little family and my parents went fishing at a local reservoir.  The kids had a great time. Brandon and my dad spent their time patiently repeatedly baiting everyone's hooks.

 Of course Lucy had to get in on the action and insisted on holding her own pole.

 The kids also enjoyed making a tower of rocks! They were pretty proud of their accomplishment.

The only downside of our fishing adventure is that no one caught any fish! It was nice to spend some time together on the buys day with just our family.
