A few days after Lucy's birthday, we had a few friends over to celebrate our special girl.
Lucy was so excited to have all of her friends there. I love how happy and content Lucy looks in these pictures.
Lucy absolutely LOVED the frozen cake Brandon made her and is still talking about it.
At the party we kept it pretty simple. We played Duck, Duck, Goose, one of Lucy's favorite games with her friends.
Then, we sang to Lucy, and ate the delicious Frozen cake with ice cream.
To finish the party, Lucy opened up some presents from her friends.
It was the perfect party for our Lucy girl with all of her favorite people. She keeps asking me if it is time for another Frozen party.

Lucy's Special Day
Early in October, my Lucy turned three and officially started off the birthday season at our house!
The kids were probably more excited for Lucy's birthday than she was.
Lucy was delighted to find balloons attached to her high chair in honor of her special day.
Of course, her birthday breakfast consisted of a mickey mouse shape pancake with a number two drawn in whipped cream on it.
We even sang Happy Birthday to Lucy and put a candle and lit it in the middle of her pancake.
Next, we were off to soccer games and football games while Lucy cheered on her kids as she calls them.
After Lucy's nap, we did things that she enjoys
We played Just Dance
We played with blocks
The kids and I went and had dinner at McDonald's while he went to the Priesthood Session of General Conference.
When dad came home, we opened Lucy's presents.
The kids were so excited to give Lucy their presents.
Lucy's favorite of the night had to have been the stuffed Anna doll mom and dad gave her.
To finish the night, we sang Happy Birthday to Lucy, had her blow out three candles and had cake and ice cream.
It was a fun day for our cute birthday girl.

Friday Night Lights
A highlight for Hyrum this past year (fall 2014), was being able to play with his football team under the lights at the high school football game. Hyrum's league was invited to play football during the half time of a high school game.
Hyrum thought it was the best things ever. Brandon was a little nervous.
Lucy and I were freezing at the game, but we stayed and supported Brandon and Hyrum.
Hyrum's team played well.
Playing under the lights was a big deal for these little players. It was a fun night!

Trip to Creede
One fall rainy Wednesday in early October, Brandon and I took a
drive with our Lucy. We did the scenic loop to admire the fall foliage
and ended up in Creede, CO. We went to that small town last year.
We took Lucy up to the old mines by the river so Lucy could throw rocks in the water like last year. She absolutely loved it! She would cheer over every rock that would make it into the water. I love that she was celebrating her small successes. Her throwing rocks into the water and her happiness that went along with it, is a memory of her I want to keep forever.
After throwing some rocks and as the rain started to pick up, we stopped at a local small restaurant and had a great lunch before heading home. It was a great day to spend some quality time with Lucy and Brandon.
