At our house, the Easter Bunny comes on the Friday night before Easter Sunday. On Saturday morning the kids were very excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. The kids lined up youngest to oldest to head out into the living room (Do you notice Emmy already has flip flops on for the day? She loves flip flops!).
Like true Emmy fashion, as soon as she came out Emmy noticed some nummies on the floor that the Easter Bunny had left. The kids were thrilled to find many fun things in their baskets
Ben was overjoyed when he found blueberry pancake mix by his basket.Emmy once again was ecstatic to find a pink chocolate nummie in her basket.Emmy has already put this chapstick to good use (and not just on lips) and the container is now empty.
After the kids explored their baskets, they emptied them and lined up to come out again for the egg hunt. The kids wasted no time getting down to business.
After the kids hunted for the candy in the house, they went back to their Easter goodies that were left and explored them some more.In the picture below, Ben is telling my dad what the instructions on the back of the pancake box say. It was too cute! Ben was excited to have some pancakes. The kids enjoyed playing Hyrum's Kerplunk game he received from the Easter bunny.
It was so much fun seeing the kids hunt for the eggs and treats and feeling their excitement over the tiniest thing. I am loving the holidays. They are magical with young children.
