Trip to Dallas
This year, we went to Dallas for Christmas and stayed for little over a week. We did many fun things while visiting Dallas.
We had a great time at the new park by Brandon's parents house. The kids had a great time! Hyrum was excited to be able to practice his baseball skills. The kids did lots of fun Christmas crafts. My kids loved making everything! They created many pictures for Christmas presents that they were so excited to give to everyone. The kids enjoyed playing all kinds of different games with their cousin Alizabeth.Brandon's mom, Ethel, did a fun treasure hunt for the kids each day. The kids thought it was awesome! The treasure was a craft for them to do or an ornament to put on the tree.
The kids made cute little Christmas tree cakes that they were able to decorate and enjoy.Emmy showed off her amazing dart skills. She hit the bull's eye a couple of times.Of course the trip to Texas wouldn't have been complete if the kids didn't cruise around in the little jeeps. We ended the trip with a visit to Braum's for dinner and ice cream. The food was fantastic! Brandon was so excited to go since it reminded him of when he was young. We had a great time in Texas! Thank you again to Brandon's parents for everything!

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." -President Thomas S Monson
Sisters, there is something inspiring and sublime about the little forget-me-not flower. I hope it will be a symbol of the little things that make your lives joyful and sweet. Please never forget that you must be patient and compassionate with yourselves, that some sacrifices are better than others, that you need not wait for a golden ticket to be happy. Please never forget that the “why” of the gospel of Jesus Christ will inspire and uplift you. And never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.—President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Dang--we were in Texas, too! I wish we could've gotten together!
