Halloween Night 2011
The kids were so excited to get dressed in their costumes for Halloween. By the way, in the pictures below, they are standing by their pumpkins. Emmy was an adorable good witch. Isn't she beautiful?Ben switched to Optimus Prime since he could wear the awesome mask he received from Aunt Lorri and family for his birthdayHyrum was Luke Skywalker Little Lucy was an adorable skeleton. Notice the light pink heart. Her costume even glows in the dark. After Brandon came home from work, we went over to our neighbor's house with some other families and had some chili before we went trick-or-treating. When everyone had something to eat, we headed out trick-or-treating. The kids had so much fun and literally ran from house to house. They loved every minute of trick-or-treating with their friends. Little Lucy stayed asleep bundled up in her stroller. In the neighborhood next to ours, they give hay rides on Halloween. As we finished up trick-or-treating, Brandon took the kids on the hay ride while I took Lucy back to our friends house. The kids thought that the hay ride was awesome! After we had some tasty dessert at our friends house, we headed home with tired but happy kids. It was a great Halloween.
Your kids are so stink'n cute as well. That's the cutest little skeleton I've ever seen. Are you guys still living in the south? You guys are such an awesome family! We miss you all!

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." -President Thomas S Monson
Sisters, there is something inspiring and sublime about the little forget-me-not flower. I hope it will be a symbol of the little things that make your lives joyful and sweet. Please never forget that you must be patient and compassionate with yourselves, that some sacrifices are better than others, that you need not wait for a golden ticket to be happy. Please never forget that the “why” of the gospel of Jesus Christ will inspire and uplift you. And never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.—President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
