Trip to Texas Spring 2010
During the last week in April and the first part of May, we went and visited Brandon's parents in Dallas, Texas.
The kids loved the many different types of bubbles Grandma T. had for them to play with. The kids thought the ice cream bubbles were pretty cool. Each ice cream bubbles smelled like the color of the ice cream. For example, green was mint, white was vanilla, brown was chocolate, pink was bubblegum. We brought the kids' bikes from home and they loved having the extra room to ride.Ben, Emmy and Hyrum were in heaven playing outside! They loved the swing on the Mulberry bush; especially when someone would push them. The kids have a tradition of going on a walk with Grandpa and Grandma T in the wagon or riding their bikes. The kids loved playing with play dough. Emmy played with the play dough forever! Grandma T. had lots of fun accessories to use when playing with the play dough. Ben made a hamburgerHyrum made a silly guy. While we were in Texas, the kids were able to spend some time with their cousin Alizabeth. Hyrum, Ben and Emmy each enjoyed spending time with her.

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." -President Thomas S Monson
Sisters, there is something inspiring and sublime about the little forget-me-not flower. I hope it will be a symbol of the little things that make your lives joyful and sweet. Please never forget that you must be patient and compassionate with yourselves, that some sacrifices are better than others, that you need not wait for a golden ticket to be happy. Please never forget that the “why” of the gospel of Jesus Christ will inspire and uplift you. And never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.—President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Fun trip! I've never seen those ice cream bubbles before, they look fun! Also, way cool birthday party, so fun!
