Lucy's Preschool Field Trip Fall 2015

In September of 2015, I was able to go on an exciting field trip with Lucy. 

To start off the field trip, we were able to ride on a bus to the train. Lucy thought it was pretty neat to go on the train.

Next, we went to see the alpacas. The children were allowed to pet or feed the alpacas. However, in true Lucy fashion, she was too scared and didn't get any where close to the animals.

Then we went on a leaf hunt! Lucy and her friend Brooke were excited to find the beautiful leaves and put them in their bag.

I think Lucy's favorite part of the field trip might have been when we stopped to throw rocks in the river.  Throwing rocks in the water has always been one of Lucy's favorite past times.

After having a quick snack, we hopped back on the bus and headed back to school. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had to go with Lucy on her field trip. I love being this little girl's mom!

Fall Soccer 2015

While the boys played football this past fall, the girls played soccer.  Both of our cute girls had a great season.

Lucy improved a lot this season. She was so excited when she finally scored a goal. I love that she still pauses in the game to take a moment to wave to me as I sit on the sidelines. She still loves the snack part of soccer the best.

Emmy really enjoyed having her dad as her coach.  Emmy did an awesome job being one of the oldest on her team. She rocked it! She loves to play defender.

It was a busy, but a fun fall.
