Two of My Lucky Charms

I absolutely love these pictures of my two of my lucky charms!!

I love how genuine and happy their smiles are.  I love how fat Brigham's cheeks are!

I remember how happy they were on this day.  Lucy and Brigham really love each other.

This was the day I put them in the stroller for the first time together. They were quite happy to be by each other.

St. Patrick's Day 2015

This year we kept St. Patrick's Day pretty simple. A Leprechaun came to our house and evaded the traps the kids set.   The Leprechaun even left behind some treasure for the kids that was Rollos and rainbow licorice.

For dinner we had Shepard's pie, rainbow fruit, soda bread, salad and a tasty green drink. I can't remember what we had for dessert!

It was a fun and easy night spent with our family and our friend Brooklyn.

St. Patrick's Day

The night before St. Patrick's Day, the kids set their own traps for the leprechaun when he would come and come he did. The leprechaun came and made a mess, turned the milk green and left a treat for the kids.

The kids were given a treat bag with Rolos wrapped in tin foil and rainbow colored sour strips along with Lucky Charms from the leprachaun!
Later that night, we had some of our good friends over for our dinner of corned beef stew, Irish Soda Bread muffins, boiled cabbage, and a rainbow display of fruit and for our beverage, we had green Kool-Aid.

To end the night, we had Family Home Evening with our friends and a delicious rainbow cake for dessert.

It was a fun green filled day!

St. Patrick's Day 2013

When the kids first woke up on St. Patrick's day morning, they realized that a leprechaun had been to our house and left a treasure hunt for them to find a treasure.  After much searching and following the rules, the kids were able to find their anticipated treasure.  However, the leprechaun tricked and instead of leaving the kids gold, the leprechaun left them rolos and rainbow candy.

The leprechaun also made a mess in our bathroom and left a note for the kids on the mirror.

The kids loved pinching people who weren't wearing green.

After church, we came home and had a St. Patrick's Day dinner with our friends and neighbors Chuck and Genia.  The main course was an Irish stew, Irish Soda bread, fruit kabobs, vegetables and a delicious salad that Chuck made.

For dessert, we had a yummy rainbow cake that Brandon and I worked together to make. It turned out awesome and tasted delicious.  It was a great St. Patrick's Day.
