Valentine's Day Cookies
One of my favorite things to do with my kids, during the holidays, is to make delicious sugar cookies!! The kids love to help make and create. They all enjoy devouring the cookies. Such fun memories have been made by making cookies together!

Hanging Around
Hands down one of the best baby presents we have ever been given is our beloved turtle play mat. This play mat was given to me by my sweet aunt Julene when I had Hyrum. We have loved this toy mat ever since.
In November, we set it up for Brigham to really start to enjoy it. In these pictures taken in November, Brigham was too busy smiling at mom instead of playing with his toys. I love spending time loving, smooching and playing with this adorable baby. My life can't get any better than this.
I love this sweet little boy of mine.

Christmas Cookies
My girls love to bake. I enjoy spending time with them baking. Of course the Christmas season wouldn't be complete if we didn't make our traditional sugar cookies.
Once again, I forgot to take a picture of the end results, but I think it is safe to say that the cookies were delicious!

Halloween Cookies
One of my favorite things to do with my kids in the month of October is making sugar cookies with my girls!
The girls love getting up to the counter and help me make the cookies. The boys enjoy eating the spoils. I didn't get any after pictures, but I can tell you the cookies turned out fantastic!
I love spending time with my sweet girls!

Lunch in a Box
Lucy has a thing for boxes. She thinks that they are the perfect toy and a great way to have fun. On the first day of her going to preschool, she came home and insisted on having lunch in a box.
So she and I sat outside and had a picnic together, me on the step and her in a box. What a silly girl. I love her.

Homemade Donuts by Emmy
Back in the beginning of March, Emmy was in charge of the treat for
FHE. I found an idea on Pintrest for making homemade donuts that was
super easy and very hands on.
Emmy absolutely loved making donuts with me. Emmy loves to create and anything sweet so this project combined both of her two loves.
Also, the donuts didn't turn out too bad! It was fun to spend time bonding with my Emmy Girl!

Tea Party with Lucy Lou
Another one of Lucy's favorite past times is to have tea parties! Lucy loves to pour water in the cups.
She and I have spent many days in the last few months talking of little things and saying cheers before we take a sip of our lukewarm water.
Lucy loves to find little snacks in our house to have with her tea.
The best part is that when I finished my cup of "tea," she filled it right back up with the left over water from her previously drunken cup.
She is the happiest when doing things with others!

Emmy and Lucy's Chocolates
One thing about my Emmy is that she loves to create things. The messier the better! She is very adventurous and is always thinking of how she can reuse something into a newer and better creation. When she was younger, she was always in the trash looking for new treasures. I blame her for all the dishes that I am missing.
She saved her plastic insert from her advent calendar from Christmas. Emmy begged me to allow her to melt and make her own chocolates.
One day, I gave in and allowed her and Lucy to make princess chocolates. They had a wonderful time together, even though they were a little messy.
I try to look at as a chance for sister bonding and for Emmy to be able to explore her creative juices!
As you can tell, the girls loved every minute!

Princess Lucy
Another thing Lucy loves is music. She loves it when I turn on the music and she and I dance. Lucy usually insists on wearing a princess dress while she dances and looks adorable.
Sometimes we sing along to the music together. She insists that I do the prince part and she does the princess singing part.
Lucy cracks me up with the poses that she strikes while I try to take her picture! These pictures were taken January 2015.
I love this little spitfire!

Hungry Hippos
One of Lucy's favorite games to play is Hungry, Hungry, Hippos. My grandma N. actually gave this game to Emmy back when she was obsessed with hippos.
Lucy and I play Hungry, Hungry, Hippos often. However, Lucy's favorite way to play the game is with our family. One day in January, we were lucky to have our boys join us for a wild game.
I love taking the time to play and spend time with my kids!

Play Doh Fun
Lucy loves to play with play doh. Almost every day, she begs me to get the play doh out and play with her. These pictures were taken back in January of 2015 of her and I having some play doh fun.
Lucy mixed the colors then, but has since decided that mixing the colors ruins the play doh and hasn't mixed the colors again.
Lucy loves to get out her princesses and change their dresses with play doh. She copied this idea from YouTube videos that she watches.
Sometimes, I will create letters out of play doh while I play with Lucy, and have her tell me what letter it is.
Lucy likes to have a variety of tools when she plays play doh to make her creations.
I love that she and I have some time to spend just the two of us having fun!

Christmas Cookies
One of the things we like to do for Christmas, is to make sugar cookies and share them with the elderly in our town as we go Christmas Caroling.
As you may notice, I had many helpers to help me make and get the cookies ready.
Once again, Lucy is wearing her cherry apron and Emmy is borrowing an apron of mine.
It gets a little crazy sometimes, but I love it when my kids come and help me bake cookies. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the cookies when they were finished and decorated, but let me tell you, they were delicious and were decorated very artistically!

My Little Helper
Ever since Lucy has been little, she has always been my little shadow and my big helper. One of her favorite things to do is sit on the counter and help me "mix." She loves to count me count the scoops and help me measure. She even tries to crack eggs on her own.
Lucy loves wearing her cooking apron and helping make cookies. Lucy is always wanting to make cookies to take to daddy's work or give to the missionaries. Even though these pictures were taken in December of 2014, Lucy still loves to get up on my counter and help me assist in my baking.

Leaf Hunt
At the beginning of November, I took the girls and some friends on a
leaf hunt in our neighborhood. I tried to talk my boys into coming with
us, but I didn't have any success!!
It was cute watching the kids examine leaves and determine which ones were the best to put into their bags.
We took a break from our leaf hunt to jump in a big pile of leaves.
Lucy thought it was awesome that she found a big one!
After we did the hunt, we came home and the girls worked hard on a creative way to display their leaf hunt finds.
It was a fun day doing our leaf hunt tradition.
