Farmer's Market Outing

On May 25th we went with our fun outings group to the Farmer's Market. There we learned about different fruits and vegetables from a very nice man. It was cute to see the kids show off their knowledge. HONEY!Next, the kids were read a cute children story called Tops and Bottoms. The kids then went on a ride on the back of a tractor. The kids loved it and really enjoyed looking at all the fun things around them.

We were shown the place where they grow the bamboo for the pandas at the Memphis Zoo.
When we came back to the market, the kids were given a fun coloring book and crayons.
It was so hot and muggy that day that I decided a fun way to end the day would be to let them pick out a treat from the market.

They each had a peach (which the nice ladies at the market gave to them). The kids thought it tasted so heavenly we bought some to bring home and share with Brandon. The kids had such a great time at the Farmer's Market that we brought Brandon back there that weekend to see all the fun things. We loved our time at the Farmer's Market!

  1. Cute activity. Do share some more of your "outing" ideas. That sounds fun. Your kids are great. It was truly fun to get to see you and your kids and get to play together! I am sure you are glad to be back, and I hope the kids are getting back into the swing of life back home.
