As a family, we anxiously anticipated the big day of the game. The kids were so excited! Hyrum has been on a big baseball kick lately and he was eager to go.
We had such a great night at the ball game.
The weather was perfect! The kids were so well behaved. 
Our seats were fantastic!
Hyrum LOVED watching the game. It was fun to hear his comments about the game and cheer for the Red Bird's.
Ben loved the Red Bird's Mascot. 
Emmy liked the Red Bird's Mascot only if it stayed away. Below is her facial expression when the bird got too close for comfort.
During the game, Hyrum was thrown a ball by one of the base coaches. He was so excited! He thought it was so cool that he got a real baseball!
The guy behind us, talked one of the players into throwing him a ball to give to Ben at the end of another inning. Ben was thrilled to get a ball.
At the end of the game, the same guy talked the players into throwing a ball up for Emmy. She was pleased to have a ball just like her brothers.
It was such an amazing night. You know, the ones you want to live over and over again because everything was perfect.
We love baseball games, too! And guess what? The Rockies are totally waiting here for you. Come on over, the water's just fine!
