This trip to Lake Powell did not disappoint! We had such a great time.
The house boat was parked at the perfect spot during this trip. The kids loved playing in the water and the red mud.; especially, Emmy.
The kids were pretty proud of their creation they made on the muddy beach.
The kids thought the paddle boat was lots of fun. They were driven off many times in the paddle boat to go and explore.
The kids still aren't big fans of the tube. 
They like to go out on it, but it makes them nervous. 
Emmy didn't go out on the tube at all this year when it was being pulled behind the boat, but loved lounging on it by the house boat.
The kids were in heaven playing in the water. Emmy was such a cute little fish. Once she knew her life jacket could keep her afloat there was nothing to stop her. She called swimming by herself, "no hands."
She loved being in the water and couldn't get enough.Hyrum would also swim with "no hands", but was still nervous.
Ben didn't want anyone to let go of him while he was swimming.Ben loved throwing food out the window of the house boat to the fish in the water.
Hyrum LOVED driving Papa's boat.
The kids loved just riding in boat. 
Ben loved the rope.
Ben also enjoyed laying down on the floor on the boat. My guess was that the movement of the boat soothed him.
The kids thought it was pretty cool to be in-charge of the flags.
I was able to get up water skiing almost instantly this year and had a great time improving my skills.
One of the days we were in Lake Powell, we took a drive to Lost Eden. It was a remarkable little cave. It was too choppy for Hyrum to go out and swim though. We stopped and got ice cream on the way back to the house boat.
Hyrum and Ben loved going on adventures with the older boys. They went hunting forlizards in the red rock.Hyrum had a fun time going on an adventure with Papa looking for lizards.

Emmy was attached to Sean's friend Jordan 2. She flirted with him the whole trip. It was pretty funny.
We had yummy food through out the trip.
My parents invited a family from their ward, who had young children, to come with use. Ben, Emmy, and Hyrum loved hanging out with them.
I think one of my favorite times at Lake Powell was when our family drove out on the lake with just the seven of us.

This is a picture of Hyrum and his hero and his best buddy. Jordan saved his sunglasses (Papa tried many times to save them too) when they fell in the water, the other person is Bobby who Hyrum followed around the whole trip. Hyrum also really liked Truxton too.
The weather was beautiful! It was such a wonderful trip. Thank you again mom and dad for inviting us to go!
