Baby Number Four!!

On February 5th, I found out that I was pregnant. I bought a cheap pregnancy test from the store and it came back positive. I told Brandon and he told me that before I get too excited, that I should buy the nicer test just in case. I headed down to Walgreen's and bought the expensive test and came back with the same result.

I was so excited to be pregnant. We had spent the last 15 months trying. After a few weeks, I started to get sick. I knew it was coming and I knew how bad to expect it. I definitely had some rough days and weeks with another sickness on top of it all. Once I received the medicine I needed and farther along in my pregnancy, things started to improve. However, this pregnancy doesn't even compare with my previous pregnancies. I haven't had to go to the hospital or receive home health treatment. Don't get me wrong, this pregnancy hasn't been a walk in the park, but it still has been the best. I am still nauseous every day, all the time, but I am not throwing up a few times a day.

The kids were so excited to find out that I was pregnant. We told them (I think) at the beginning of March. One conversation I overheard was Emmy telling one of her friends, she said, "Want to hear some great news!? My mom has a baby in her tummy." I love this drawing that Hyrum drew of me and him shortly after.
On May 23rd, we found out that we would be adding another precious baby girl to our family. Brandon and I bought pink cookies at the store to share with the kids. We all went with Hyrum to school and had lunch with him to share the good news.

Emmy was really hoping for a girl. Hyrum was also hoping for a girl and Ben was hoping for a boy. Ben only showed a moment of disappointment, and hasn't said another thing since about having a boy. Emmy has said she wants to name the baby hippo (you know, like the animal). Ben wanted to use the name Dash (from Incredibles) if it was a boy. We haven't decided on a name yet, haven't really discussed names for this baby number four.

Emmy has told many people since we found out the baby was a girl that the baby would be sleeping in her room with her. She is very excited to have a roommate. Hyrum has even volunteered to stay home from school to help change all the poopy diapers. We have already had arguments over who will get to sit next to the baby in the car. This baby will be and already is very much loved!

Baby girl's due date is October 8th; however, I have c-sections so she will arrive around a week early. We are very excited for this new baby.
