Every year my Grandma B. hosts a Santa party. This year, we were lucky enough to attend the highly anticipated evening. To start off, there are many different games for the kids to play while we wait for everyone to arrive. You can always find a friend to play with. Lucy was passed around and shown off since for many people, this was their first time seeing her. Lucy is 2.5 months in these pictures.Grandma N. was able to make it to the party.Lucy was wearing her Christmas dress for the year since on Christmas Sunday she would be blessed and in her special gown. Next, we have a fun dinner of pizza and other yummy food to eat. Then we gather around and sing Christmas carols in the living room. While we were singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Santa came bursting through the door.
Each of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren (who aren't married) are called up to sit on Santa's lap. Santa makes sure to tell a fun little tidbit about you before you can receive a fun bag from him. Emmy was scared to death and turned a deep red shade, but she was brave and able to get her present. Her eyes were as large as saucers while Santa was talking to her. I was so bummed her picture turned out blurry. Both Ben and Hyrum loved being called up to sit on Santa's lap.Even Grandma and Grandpa received a special gift from Santa. It is always such a fun night that puts a huge smile on my face. It was so much fun to be able to spend some time with the family.
