Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful day Christmas Eve.  We headed out in the morning to burn off some energy at my mom's school by playing dodge ball, jumping rope and other fun games.

Next, we went and saw the movie Frozen.

We came home and got ready for the traditional Christmas Eve dinner of round steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, rolls and danish dessert.

The kids were each able to open up one present, their pajamas.  Lucy fell in love with her Minnie Mouse pajamas and wore them for the rest of the trip.

Next, we all listened as my dad read the Nativity story.

Then the kids, Millie, Brandon and left notes and cookies for Santa along with some carrots for the reindeer.

As the kids were going to bed, you could tell that there was excitement in the air.
