The boys were so excited this past fall to participate in our local football league. It was Hyrum's second time playing football and Ben's first.
The boys worked so hard and improved over the season.
Ben had some great catches and played in many different postions.
Hyrum was a lineman and did a great job. Hyrum's team went undeafeated. In fact, Hyrum's team wasn't even scored on.
To end the season, the boys were able to play on the high school field under the lights. The boys thought that was awesome.
Even grandma and papa came to join in the excitement.
It was a great season of growth and opportunities.

Lunch in a Box
Lucy has a thing for boxes. She thinks that they are the perfect toy and a great way to have fun. On the first day of her going to preschool, she came home and insisted on having lunch in a box.
So she and I sat outside and had a picnic together, me on the step and her in a box. What a silly girl. I love her.

First Day of Preschool
Lucy had been so excited all summer to finally be a big kid and go to school. She was thrilled when it was finally her big day.
Of course, she had to put curlers in her hair so she could have bouncy, beautiful hair. Also, she had to have the special blueberry pancake breakfast that we have for big days.
I love these pictures of her! I love this dear child of mine. She makes me smile. She has such a big personality and love for life. She is a constant reminder to me that a loving Heavenly Father answers our prayers.
Lucy had been telling me all summer that she was the girl in the logo (of the preschool) with a red bow. As a result, she insisted on wearing a red bow to school for the first week.
Lucy has loved her teacher and going to school.
I had a hard time dropping her off that first day and was a little emotional. It has been a great year of school for her! We love our Lucy Lu!

Family Camping Trip
During the last wonderful weekend in August, we went camping as a family at a local camp site.
Once again, the kids had a great time exploring until dark, enjoyed eating marshmallows and watching the movie Herbie in our tent when it got dark.
In the morning, after a breakfast of pancakes, we had a great time playing and having fun at the campsite and river with our family. In fact, we had a pine cone war!
Of course Lucy had to throw some rocks in the water!
It was so much fun and such a great memory for our family.
