When we first arrived in the city of the Mesa, we headed out to a tasty BBQ for dinner.
Next, we went to the tasty Enstrom's for ice cream. A Grand Junction tradition. It was so tasty!
I let the kids each pick out a little candy for them to have when we got back to Grandma and Papa Van's house. 
Emmy was in heaven checking out the nummies!
It was so cute, Ben wanted to make sure his Papa Van was getting a treat and picked one out for him.
The kids loved "showing off" for Grandma N. all of their amazing skills.Grandma gave the kids gifts from her trip to Hawaii. Hyrum got a VW Bug, Ben received a black truck, both with a surf board on top. The boys thought they were awesome! Emmy was given a cute hula girl doll that is named Emma.
Grandma gave me some yummy toffee from Enstrom's.
After our stop at Enstrom's, we went back to the hotel and swam while Grandma and Grandma N. watched. The kids were in heaven swimming in the pool, even though it was so cold!
The kids thought it was pretty fun to stay in a hotel.
The next day, we went over to Aunt Rachel's where Grandma N. lives to say good-bye.
Emmy was very shy during our visit. Grandma showed Emmy her special doll that was her mother's (Emmy's Great-Great Grandma).
It was so much fun to see my mom's side of the family, especially Grandma. She is such a sweet lady. I hope to be like her some day. 
It was a quick, but very fun trip.
