Easter Fun

We had a great Easter this season. The Easter Bunny came the Friday before Easter leaving all sorts of fun goodies for the kids in their Easter baskets.

The kids were so excited about everything and particularly loved the angry birds snacks. The boys thought their transformers were awesome and Emmy has LOVED her make-up. Lucy also LOVED her toy wind chime that the Easter Bunny left for her in her basket.  Lucy also found baby food and puffs in her basket as well as a movie to share with the family.

 We were lucky, my parents came into town the night Easter bunny came so they were here to enjoy all the excitement that morning.

After the kids went through their baskets, we lined the kids up again to find all of the eggs and candy throughout the house the Easter Bunny left for them.

Afterwards the kids had to sit down and examine their loot!

  It was so much fun watching the kids that morning enjoying one of the joys of being a kid. 

Later that morning, we went to the ward Easter party where the kids were able to participate in another hunt, make a craft and enjoy a picnic.

I guess Ben missed the numerous announcements BY HIS MOM about how many eggs each child should get.  Needless to say, we put some back.

Lucy looked adorable in her new outfit Grandma bought her. Perfect for an Easter party.

  

The kids enjoyed themselves and had a great time. 

Brandon mom also sent a fun Easter packaged filled with games, goodies and treats that the kids sure enjoyed. 

Easter was packed full of fun this year. We didn't dye any Easter eggs. I feel kind of bad, but we just never got around to it.  Hopefully we will be able to find time to fit it in next year.
