A Day in Pueblo

School started for the kids on the 27th of August. On August 25th, we decided to have a family day.  We drove to Pueblo and had some fun.  We ate lunch at McDonald's and dinner at Wendy's.

We found a new table for our family (since we sold ours before we moved.  We have been eating on a card table for the past month.).  We saw Ice Age 4 in the theaters. To end the night, we walked the Veteran's River Walk downtown.
It was such a fun atmosphere. The kids loved being able to run through the fountains. It was wonderful to see their cute smiles on their faces and be able to tell that they were loving very moment. I think it was their favorite part of our time in Pueblo.

We also splurged a little and rode the little ferry down the "river."  We all loved it!

It was the perfect way to end the night and to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of school.  It was wonderful to be together as a family.
