Hyrum decided that he wanted a glow-in-the-dark birthday party. Brandon and I had so much fun planning this party. The decorations for the party were awesome! The pictures do not do them justice.
Not to mention that there was at least a hundred glow sticks strewn about the room. As well as balloons that glowed in the dark since they had LED lights in them.
Also, we can't forget that the cake's frosting was glow-in-the-dark as well. Of course, Brandon made that too.
However, the activity that I think was the highlight of the night is when we played the Sock Game, but with the Glow-in-the-dark balloons. The object of the game is to pick up all the balloons on your side of the
blanket and throw them over to the other side. We set the timer and
at the end of the game, whoever has the most balloons on their sides lose. We played this game a lot at the party and the kids LOVED it.
Next, Hryum opened up presents from all of his friends. They spoiled him rotten.
Then, we sang Happy Birthday to Hyrum and had cake and ice cream. Just like Ben's and Emmy's parties we did an ice cream buffet.
It was a great night and lots of fun to celebrate our Hyrum.
