I love Christmas Eve. I love the magic in the anticipation for Santa to come that last through out the day.
Christmas Eve morning we went to my aunt Marsha's house and had a wonderful breakfast. It was so much fun to spend time with Marsha and her family. The kids were given great gifts from my Grandma N. there. Emmy got a sweet little doll and a fluffy tutu with matching shirts. Ben got a yellow and black race car and Hyrum received a black monster truck. The gifts were perfect and the kids have loved them.
On Christmas Eve, in the afternoon, the kids went on another treasure hunt. Their treasure for the day were the things they needed to make treats for the Santa's reindeer. In their treats were oatmeal and sprinkles. After dinner, the kids were able to open up one Christmas present which was pajamas. When the kids had on their pajamas, Brandon's dad read the Nativity Story and we sung various Christmas hymns throughout.Of course the kids set out a plate of cookies for Santa. The kids were anxious that night and so excited that Santa would be coming to visit them.
