At the beginning of December, we went to a local Christmas parade(the same one we went to last year). This year, the parade was held a little earlier in the day so the sun was still out which made it a little warmer.
I found a little bakery to buy some hot chocolate for us to enjoy and help us keep warm while watching the parade.
We enjoyed watching the various marching bands and seeing the fun and spiritual Christmas floats. The kids would sneak their little hands out of the blanket, wave hi and yell Merry Christmas to the people in the parade. The kids loved it when people would throw candy and treats to them. The kids were so excited when they saw Santa on top of a firetruck at the end of the parade!
Although it was really cold, we had a great time at the parade!
