After the kids came home from school, they were able to open their Halloween cards that they received in the mail from Papa and Grandma. The kids loved finding a dollar in their card. Lucy LOVED the stickers on her envelope and took her job of removing them very seriously.
Next, the kids got ready for the evening. I love how in these pictures Lucy is trying to pose like the kids. She wants to be involved in everything and do whatever everyone else is doing.
My handsome ninja
My awesome football player
My beautiful super girl
My sweet crazy little Indian. By the way, she did have a cute warm leopard costume to wear, but she wouldn't have anything to do with it.
Lucy wouldn't let me empty the treats that she received earlier in the day when she went trick-or-treating in town. She started the evening off with a heavy pumpkin.
Emmy absolutely loved wearing lipstick and glitter hair spray!
Once again we invited some of our good friends over for trick-or-treating. We ate some yummy chili and cornbread and headed out the door to go trick-or-treating.
I am disappointed that we didn't get any pictures of the kids actually trick or treating. Lucy was in heaven with the idea of getting lots of candy. She insisted on holding her pumpkin most of the time.
It was a cold night, we would trick-or-treat at one house, hop in the car, and drive to the next. There are also many elderly in the area so we spent a lot of time in people's houses visiting for a few minutes.
The kids received lots of treats and had a great night. It was a great evening!
