Halloween Walk

I love living in a small town. I love how the community is involved in everything. On Halloween, the kids each had a party in their classroom. To start it off, the kids were able to change into their costumes.  I was able to go and help each of them get ready.  Yes, Ben's costume has changed from the ward party. He asked one of the families here if they had football pads he could borrow. Ben then needed to wear a bigger football jersey to cover his pads.

One fun thing the elementary kids got to do was going trick-or-treating to the local main street businesses.  The younger kids are allowed to wear their costumes and parade through town.  While the older kids did activities in the gym.

Lucy and I walked the trick-or-treating route through town with Ben and Emmy. Lucy was thrilled to be with the big kids. It was cute to see Ben help guide Lucy through.
After trick-or-treating through town, the kids went back to their classrooms for cupcakes and pizza.  It was a fun way to start the Halloween celebrations for the day!
