At the beginning of October, our sweet feisty Lucy turned two! The whole household was so excited for Lucy's birthday.
She awoke on her birthday morning to the kids and I coming into her room and singing Happy Birthday. She didn't know quite what to think, but with all the birthdays we have had at our house recently, she has gotten the hang of the song.
Lucy LOVED all the balloons she found around the house.
Lucy had yummy pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries for breakfast.
After we dropped the big kids off at school, Lucy and I went to Story Time at the library. She always picks the same books that we have at home for me to read to her.
Next, we met up with one of her good friends JR and daddy for lunch at Burger King. Lucy absolutely loved her crown and wore it for most of the day.
We ordered yummy pizza from the pizza bus for dinner and had cupcakes and ice cream for dessert. Lucy was a little scared of the candle, but blew the candle out by herself.
We took breaks between opening presents and playing Lucy's favorite games. We played Duck, Duck, Goose and Ring Around the Rosies. Of course we also played Just Dance 4, which Lucy loves. We also took breaks from opening presents to play with dolls and read books.
Lucy received some fun presents from everyone.
Ben gave Lucy a coloring book and crayons
Emmy gave Lucy some clothes. The shirt said "I Love My Big Sister."
Brandon and I gave Lucy her beloved Bob Books.
She received the movie Lady and the Tramp from Hyrum.
One fun present she received from Brandon and I was the Aqua Doodle mat. It is the perfect thing for her since she loves to color.
It was such a fun night for our little family to celebrate our beloved Lucy!
