More Christmas Parties

One of the fun parties we went to in December was our ward Christmas party. Originally the ward had planned on going Christmas caroling to the less actives and widows in our ward. However, the weather was really rainy that day and as a result plans were changed.

At the party there was a cute nativity acted out by some of the older primary kids in the ward. There was abundance of refreshments and yummy hot chocolate at the party. The kids loved all the treats. Also, there were special musical numbers performed by people in our ward and the singing of Christmas carols by everyone.

To end the night, each of the kids were able to visit Santa Claus and tell them what they wanted for Christmas.

The kids anxiously waited for their turn in line.

Hyrum and his friend Josalyn
They were very excited.
Once again, the boys had no problem and were thrilled to sit on Santa's lap. Emmy was a little nervous and didn't want to get too close. The kids loved the little bag of goodies Santa gave them.We had a great time that night and fully enjoyed the Christmas spirit of the season.

Another party was Hyrum's school's Christmas party. Once again I was able to help plan the party. Hyrum and his friends did so many fun activities. They decorated sugar cookies and made ornaments.Hyrum and his friends also made a Christmas necklace and played a relay game with winter clothes. Hyrum had a fabulous time. I am so grateful I have the opportunity to help in Hyrum's classroom and being able to watch him have so much fun at the holiday parties.
