Two New Sunbeams

This past Sunday Ben and Emmy graduated from nursery to primary. I can't believe these two are sunbeams!

As we were getting ready for church, I was telling Ben and Emmy how they would get to go in with the big kids to primary and that they would have new teachers. If I remember correctly, Emmy was pretty excited to be with the big kids, but Ben was not. He got real sad and told me he wanted his old teachers (they had such great nursery leaders).
Our ward has a little graduation for the kids who are graduating from nursery to sunbeams. You might remember this post two years ago from Hyrum's nursery graduation. This graduation the sunbeam teachers made hats again for the graduates and then had each child bring a white shirt of their parents to wear for a graduation gown.
Lining up outside the primary room waiting for their turn.

They both looked so cute standing up in front for their spotlight. When it was Ben's turn he had the cutest smile on his face. I guess he decided that being a sunbeam wouldn't be too bad. I was told that they did pretty good on their first day as Sunbeams. Also, I was told that Emmy sang many of the songs. I knew that singing time would be a big hit for her; she loves to sing!

I can't believe Ben and Emmy are old enough to be sunbeams. They are growing up way too fast.
